This photo was used for the Nigerian girls that were taken away from there homes by the Boko Haram. The girls werent alone by the Pentagon silently assisting counter terrorism missions.Since about 276 Nigerian girls were abducted, Nigerian police a $300,000 dollar reward from information about the abduction like how it happened.
On a CNN article an interview stated that the leader of the Boko Haram was doing all of the kidnappings because Nigerian security forces nabbing the the wives and children of memebers.
One thought that interested me was the fact of how this happened. The terrorist groups that did this had to plan this up and have a certain target, In the same CNN interview, it said that the targets were mostly female in Muslim or Christian school. The Boko Haram could have had a religion motive behind all of their kidnapping. The Nigerian police couldn't even find them, forcing them to give a bargain of money for information retaining to the abducted females. Out of the 276 girls that were kidnapped, about 47 of them escaped.

I remember hearing about this story through many social media websites. This whole situation is just tragic those poor innocent girls taken from a place that's suppose to be safe for them. At least a few of the girls were able to escape but, sadly their are still many left. Boko Haram is a really cruel man who needs to be put behind bars.

ReplyDeleteMore articles say that one of the main reason for his actions was control. He wanted either to control of the government or power.
