In September of 2013, masked gunmen stormed into a mall in Nairobi and committed various murders. They shot 39 people dead and injured more then 150. This attack was a very unusual attack because a mall setting would allow for many camera and ways for police to find the criminals. My parents protected their children by hiding them places. The shooters would aim for the head and in hours there was blood smeared on the floor. The attackers had a stand off with the police, as they were holding hostages. The terrorists had some sort of attack plan as they went on a crowded Saturday.
This picture maybe little graphic with the dead body on the ground, but this is what it was like on the inside of the mall during the attack. An official with the African Union has some words to say as he was at the food court during the attack. He pretty much said that they were good shots, so they had to be trained.
People that were in the mall that day heard them saying for Muslims to run. One thing that questions me is why did they ask for the Muslims to run specifically. Was there something that the terrorist wanted to do with them or was there another motive.
Americans have started to pay attention when it was mentioned that 4 Americans were injured.
In Hotel Rwanda, there was something similar that happened to the people in the Hotel. The Tutsi army came to the hotel and other places. They attacked the hotel and help every single refugee at their hostage. The Army before killed thousands of people in neighborhoods including the President. The only control they had were the French since they were the ones to supply them with weaponry. This relates to the bombing in Kenya because both terrorist groups have some sort of motive at hand. They are with a group that all they want is probably power.

Wow the first image is extremely shocking seeing that innocent person shot dead on the mall floor. These rebels are ruthless and need to be stopped before they can cause anymore damage! I really like the connection you made between the scene in Hotel Rwanda and the mall both are similar.
